Terms of Service for PromptsDB

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of PromptsDB ("Service"), operated by Academind GmbH, Lena-Christ-Straße 2, 82031 Grünwald, Germany ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using PromptsDB, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

PromptsDB is an online platform that allows users to browse AI prompt templates, save prompts to their personal library, and upload their own prompts for private use. The Service may also include guides and educational content related to prompt engineering.

The Service does not generate AI outputs, run AI models, or provide paid features.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service without creating an account to browse prompts.

An account is required to save prompts to your library or upload your own prompts.

By creating an account, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You are fully responsible for all activities occurring under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, including but not limited to cases of Terms violations, security concerns, service misuse, or unlawful activity.

4. User-Uploaded Prompts

Users may upload their own prompts to the Service but only for personal, private use.

Uploaded prompts are not visible to other users.

You agree not to upload or store any content that:

  • Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringes intellectual property rights or privacy rights
  • Is harmful, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate
  • Contains malicious code or attempts to disrupt the Service

We reserve the right to remove content that we determine violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All prompts, template content, documentation, guides, and materials published by PromptsDB are protected by copyright and other applicable laws.

You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use our prompts for any lawful purpose, including commercial use.

You are not permitted to:

  • Redistribute, republish, sell, sublicense, or systematically copy our prompts
  • Attempt to extract, scrape, or download the database in bulk
  • Use automated tools to access or interact with the Service

All rights not expressly granted remain reserved by Academind GmbH.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Copy, scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data from the Service using automated tools
  • Reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Circumvent access controls or security mechanisms
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

7. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

This includes, without limitation:

  • No warranty of accuracy, completeness, or usefulness
  • No warranty regarding reliability or availability
  • No warranty that prompts or guides are error-free, safe, or suitable for any specific purpose

Any use of prompts or information from the Service is solely at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Academind GmbH shall not be liable for any:

  • Direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, reputation, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from your use of prompts, templates, guides, or any information from the Service
  • Damages arising from unauthorized access to your account or uploaded content

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.

9. Data Collection and Privacy

We collect only the data necessary to operate the Service, such as:

  • Authentication-related data
  • Account information
  • Technical logs
  • Cookies required for login and security

The Service may be hosted on servers located worldwide.

10. Service Modifications

We may modify, update, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.

Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Germany.
