Create clear, measurable OKRs for Timeframe aligned to the company's priorities and business goals.
Inputs:
<company-priorities>
Company Priorities
</company-priorities>
<business-goals>
Business Goals
</business-goals>
Follow these steps:
1) Derive 3-5 outcome-focused Objectives from the priorities; note which priority each Objective aligns to.
2) For each Objective, write 3-5 Key Results that are quantitative, time-bound, and trackable.
3) Use specific metrics, baselines, and end-of-Timeframe targets; propose reasonable assumptions if missing and flag them.
4) Ensure KRs measure outcomes (not tasks) and collectively indicate success of the Objective.
Constraints:
• Keep 3-5 Objectives; 3-5 KRs per Objective.
• KRs must include: metric, baseline, target, unit, owner (role title), data source, reporting cadence.
• Avoid task words in KRs (e.g., launch, implement, create) unless paired with a measurable outcome.
• Keep language concise and practical.
Output format:
1) Summary (2-3 sentences): how Objectives align to priorities and
<business-goals>
Business Goals
</business-goals>
.
2) Objectives and Key Results for Timeframe:
Objective X: [concise outcome] (Aligned priority: [name])
KRs:
1) [Metric]: baseline [value] -> target [value] by end of Timeframe; owner: [role]; source: [system]; cadence: [e.g., monthly]
2) ...
3) Assumptions and notes: bullets listing any inferred baselines, data gaps, or dependencies.
<example>
Summary: Objectives focus on profitable EMEA expansion, retention, and margin improvement aligned to revenue and NRR goals.
Objective 1: Expand profitable EMEA revenue (Aligned priority: Enter EMEA)
KRs:
1) New EMEA ARR: baseline $0 -> target $3M by end of Q2; owner: Head of Sales; source: CRM; cadence: monthly
2) EMEA gross margin: baseline 58% -> target 65%; owner: Finance Lead; source: ERP; cadence: monthly
3) EMEA NRR: baseline 92% -> target 98%; owner: CS Director; source: Billing; cadence: quarterly
Assumptions and notes:
• Baseline margin from last quarter; validate CRM reporting definition for ARR.
